Food poisoning symptoms can vary but the most common are stomach pain, vomiting, diarrhea, nausea and fever. You will start to notice symptoms 6 to a day after having eaten the contaminated food. In most cases food poisoning can be treated at home.

If you notice that food poisoning symptoms become worse or they last for more than 2 weeks, then it is recommended you see your doctor.

Though most cases of food poisoning are easy to treat, there is botulism food poisoning which can be deadly. That is why it is very important to eat in clean places and make sure your food is prepared in a hygienic area as well.
